Why Diver Propulsion Vehicle Speciality?
If you want an introduction to the excitement of moving through the water with no effort, then his is your course.
What do I need to start?
•PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
•Minimum age: 16 years old
What will I do?
During the program, you'll learn the techniques you need to know for safe diver propulsion vehicle operation. This includes:
•Diver propulsion vehicle dive planning organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards
•Equipment and procedure considerations
•How to avoid harming fragile aquatic life
How long will it take?
•Minimum Open Water Training: two dives over one day
What will I need?
•DPV Crew-Pak
•Log Book
All PADI materials and equipment will be provided by us. All we ask is that you complete the necessary paperwork and bring it with you on the first day. We also recommend that you bring a towel, water, change of clothing and plenty of sun cream!
Where can I go from here?
The Diver Propulsion Vehicle Adventure Dive from the Adventures In Diving program may count toward this specialty at instructor discretion and this specialty counts as one of your five Specialty diver certifications for the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification.
