June 2007 News - Sam Heeley completes PADI DM Fast-track Program
During May and the first few weeks of June Sam Heeley, from Brighton, completed the Finatical Divers – Mallorca fast track PADI Dive Master Program. He arrived having completed his PADI Open Water and PADI Advanced Open Water course at his local dive center. The scuba diving here in and around Santa Ponsa was completed ahead of schedule leaving plenty of time for Sam to complete the theory work. The theory part of the work went very well, apart from the Physics. However Sam should great enthusiasm and got his head down and worked his way through it. Upon successful completion of the course I believe that Sam plans to work in Mexico some time during the 2008 season. Best of luck buddy!
During the final weeks of June a group of lads from Glasgow arrived. Namely Eddy, Jeff and Michael. Eddy was the more experienced of the three and was keen to introduce his nephew, Jeff, to wonders of scuba diving and the underwater realm. Jeff and Michael (Mad Mike) undertook their PADI Open Water diver course with us. Both of them completed the scuba divng course with no problems at all. Eddy Conroy also dived with us and enrolled on several courses such as the PADI Rescue Scuba Diving course and three PADI Speciality Diving courses. These were the PADI Night Diving, PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy and PADI Deep Dive speciality. These together with Eddy's previous qualifications allowed us to apply directly to PADI for the much sought after PADI Master Scuba Diver qualificaiton.
