PADI Scuba Diving Instructor Fast Track
For a qualified PADI Divemaster, this is a rapid, reliable route to certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
You start with your pre-IDC training. This takes a week and involves recapping essential skills, practicing teaching techniques and mock examinations. It is followed by your Instructor Development Course (IDC). This is designed to teach you everything you need to know about dive training within the PADI scheme, as well as preparing you for the specific job of teaching the sport. Once the IDC is completed you will immediately progress on to the Instructor Examination (IE)
The fast track does not include the many PADI Specialities of out longer traineeships, but if you are a qualified PADI Divemaster this is a quick route to PADI OWSI certification, the passport to worldwide dive jobs.
